Suicide Prevention

Individual therapy for those with suicidal thoughts as well as guidance for concerned family/friends about prevention and how to recognize the warning signs of someone at risk for committing suicide.

  • Suicide is a large and growing public health problem with approximately one death every 12 minutes. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for people 10 to 34 years of age, the fourth leading cause among people 35 to 54 years of age,

  • Most people who commit suicide have talked about or given definite warning signs of their suicidal intentions

If you are feeling suicidal, you need to talk to someone who has had experience with others in your situation. Give yourself today. Remember that however alone you feel, there are people who want to talk with you. I can help.

I provide the guidance family, friends and colleagues need to understand and recognize the common clues and warning signs to watch for. Suicide is rarely a spur of the moment decision.
